I'm pleased to announce that the Charity's meeting in January 2024 was successful and brought significant value to the community. Discussing issues with collaborators about the events of the past year was crucial for gaining an overview of the situation and focusing on areas that need improvement. Additionally, proposing plans for 2024 is a vital step in determining a new direction and setting specific goals.

Rewarding outstanding collaborators is a great way to motivate them to continue their positive work and honor their contributions. This not only helps create motivation but also strengthens solidarity and support in the community. Recognition and appreciation of these efforts are key to building a strong and sustainable community.

Congratulations to the outstanding Volunteers, and I hope that support and positive activities will continue to make the living environment of disadvantaged households better. RAISING AWARENESS ON TOBACCO HARM PREVENTION AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Recently, the project collaborated with the Bac Ruong Commune People's Committee to organize an awareness campaign on tobacco harm prevention and environmental protection. The event attracted approximately 1,200 participants, including 200 local officials, public employees, staff from Thien Chi Center, and around 1,000 community members.

Tobacco use is one of the leading causes of many serious diseases, including lung cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory illnesses. Smoking not only harms smokers themselves but also affects those around them through secondhand smoke, especially children and pregnant women. In addition, new-generation tobacco products such as e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products are becoming increasingly popular among young people, posing new challenges to public health.
