In a warm and hopeful atmosphere, Thien Chi Center organized the first gathering for the group of students receiving educational loans. These young students are being supported by the center with financial assistance to cover the costs of college and university studies, opening a new door for their future.

During the meeting, the students shared their personal circumstances, dreams, and study plans for the new academic year. The group also seriously discussed their commitment to using the loan funds responsibly, effectively, and for the intended purposes. Each student expressed determination not only to study well but also to uphold the credibility of the program, recognizing this as a valuable opportunity entrusted to them by the center and generous donors.

With a spirit of unity and aspiration, the group agreed to name themselves “Ocean” – symbolizing vastness, inclusiveness, and limitless potential. The students also established group regulations and elected a leader and a deputy leader to coordinate and connect members. The group agreed to meet twice a year to share academic progress, support one another, and reflect on their journey. Their slogan, “Reaching the vast ocean, touching the future,” serves not only as a reminder but also as a motivation for each member to strive forward every day.

This group represents the first core team in Thien Chi Center’s student loan support program. They are not only beneficiaries but also pioneers in building responsibility, transparency, and a strong sense of community for the program in the future.

After the formal meeting, the group shared a warm and friendly meal together to begin the new year. In that relaxed atmosphere, stories about university life, career dreams, and even their initial concerns were sincerely shared. This connection has created a supportive community where no one feels alone on their educational journey.

Thien Chi Center would like to express its sincere gratitude to the students for their commitment, dedication to learning, and willingness to build this pioneering group for the program. With the spirit of the “Ocean,” we believe they will confidently reach greater horizons, achieve a brighter future, and later continue to spread kindness and support to the next generations.
