In February 2026, Thien Chi Center – the Ham Thuan Nam Community Development Project continued its second round of support for 24 disadvantaged households affected by the floods that occurred in October 2025. These families live in Ham Thanh, Ham Kiem, Tan Lap, and Tan Thanh communes, areas that suffered significant damage after the heavy flooding.

With funding support from the sponsor Paris Bamboo, the project provided partial financial assistance to help families recover their agricultural production, particularly the restoration and care of dragon fruit gardens, which are a primary source of income for many households in the area. After receiving the support, the families used the funds to purchase fertilizer and began rehabilitating and caring for their gardens.

This timely assistance brought great joy and encouragement to the flood-affected residents. The support has helped motivate families to overcome difficulties, gradually stabilize their livelihoods, and rebuild their household economy after the disaster.
