Ms. Thủy's Dream of Having a Home Becomes a Reality

Ms. Lê Thị Thủy is a woman from the Rai ethnic group in the mountainous region of Mỹ Thạnh, Hàm Thuận Nam District. She got married at the age of 18 and now has two children. Her eldest son, who is now 23 years old, dropped out of school early to help the family. Her daughter is currently in 12th grade at Bình Thuận Provincial Ethnic Boarding School. The family's dream is for their children to receive a good education and to have a stable home.

The Thiện Chí Center learned about her family through the introduction of the management board of Mỹ Thạnh Commune, Hàm Thuận Nam District. Her family lived in a makeshift house made of bamboo cut from the forest. With the family's wish, the Thiện Chí Center, together with the local authorities and her family, turned the dream into reality. In June 2024, their new house was completed and put into use.
