On December 19, 2025, the Project coordinated with the Department of Culture and Social Affairs of Tánh Linh Commune and the Tánh Linh Women’s Union to organize a legal communication and counseling session for local women. The program focused on disseminating practical legal knowledge, including the Law on Marriage and Family, laws on preventing child marriage, the Law on Children, the Law on Gender Equality, regulations on property division after marriage, and basic knowledge related to land law.

A total of 67 women from Tánh Linh Commune participated in the session. The communication and counseling activities were delivered by lawyers from the Lam Dong Provincial Lawyers’ Association, using clear explanations and real-life examples relevant to daily situations.

Overall, the legal communication and counseling class helped women gain essential legal knowledge and better understand their rights and obligations. This enabled them to apply the law confidently in their daily lives and share this knowledge with others when legal difficulties arise, contributing to the development of a more equitable and sustainable family and community.

This activity is part of the project “Economic Development for Disadvantaged Women through Economic Empowerment and Access to Healthcare,” funded by the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) through the “La Francophonie avec Elles” Fund for the 2025–2028 period.
