Phan Nhat Huy lives in Duc Linh district and just graduated with a degree in automotive refrigeration from Nguyen Tat Thanh University. Huy's family is a poor local household. His house does not have a field, so no revenue from potential rubber trees. Currently, there are 5 adults and 2 children going to school, living in an old wooden house. His mother has breast cancer which has metastasized. She has been undergoing treatment for 5 years and had her right breast removed. Now, she has bone cancer and has to go to the oncology hospital every month. Because of her poor health, she cannot work. She stays at home and sells small groceries. Huy also has two younger siblings, Dat and Son. Dat graduated from grade 12 and is preparing to go to vocational school, while Son is in grade 9.

In the 2021-2022 school year, the Thien Chi Center and the local government conducted a study on Huy's family. Because of his family's economic situation, there was a risk that Huy would have to stop his studies. To help him continue and achieve his dream, the Thien Chi Center supported Huy with a student scholarship of 2,000,000 VND. The scholarship came during the Covid pandemic, in a situation where his family had so many things to handle. It helped to partly cover the cost of studying and was a great source of motivation for Huy to develop. Thanks to his own efforts and to financial support at the right time, Huy graduated!

Scholarships awarded at the right time are a source of great motivation and carry great meaning!
